About the Project Advisors Group

Anthony Mersino is the founder of the Project Advisors Group, a firm focused on helping project leaders succeed with emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.  With over 23 years of  experience as a project and program manager, Anthony brings his broad expertise and high energy to every workshop, presentation and program he delivers.

Anthony specializes in emotional intelligence for project managers.  In 2007, AMACOM published his book Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers; the People Skills You Need to Succeed.  This is the only book on emotional intelligence written specifically for project managers.

Anthony is a frequent speaker on emotional intelligence and he teaches one and two day workshops on boosting emotional intelligence and other interpersonal skills. Anthony also teaches courses on IT project management, program management, and leadership.

Since founding the Project Advisors Group in 2001, Anthony has successfully delivered several project management consulting engagements for USG, MWH Global, ARAMARK Healthcare, the National Opinion Research Center, and Abbott Laboratories.  Prior to founding the Project Advisors Group, Anthony honed his project management and leadership skills with IBM, FutureNext, Unisys, and Ameritech. 

Anthony has an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, and earned his M.B.A. from Loyola College in Maryland.  Anthony is a member of the following professional associations:

He has been a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 1995.
